Character Passive Abilities
The Great Old One (Cyric): Your patron is a mysterious entity whose nature is utterly foreign to the fabric of reality. Through its gifts you have gained the knowledge of powers only it has, drawing your magic from it.
School of Evocation (Level 1): You focus your studies on magic that creates powerful elemental effects such as bitter cold, searing flame, rolling thunder, crackling lighting, and burning acid. This allows you to study this types of spell more quickly.
School of Necromancy (Level 1): Allows you to explore the cosmic forces of life, death, and the undead. As you focus your studies in this field you learn to manipulate the energy that animates all living things. This allows the character to learn Necromancy spells in half the time they would normally.

Character Active Abilities
Eldritch Blast (Level 1) (roll for Attack) A beam of Crackling energy streaks toward a creature within range (120ft/24sq.). On hit, the target takes 1d10 force damage. It cost no spell point to use this spell.
Lightning Strike (Level 1): (roll for Attack) A stroke of lightning forming a 50ft long and 5ft wide blasts out from you in a direction you choose. Each creature in the line must make a Dex saving throw of 15 to take half damage or take the full 1d6 lightning damage.
Cyric’s Trick (Level 2): (roll for Attack) The Player snaps their fingers and what ever the player is looking at bursts into flames. Target takes 2d8 of fire damage, creatures affected by this attack must make a DC10 otherwise creature takes 3 ongoing fire damage for 1d4 turns.
Cyric’s Wrath (Level 1): The player summons a storm cloud that rains fire, covering 20ft wide by 20ft high (4×4spaces). Whenever a creature starts their turn in the area or enter through the field; they must make a Dex saving throw of 15 to take half damage or take the full 1d10 fire damage. This cloud lasts 1d4 turns. The player may only have one summoned at a time.
Cyric’s Fury (Level 1): With the grace of Cyric’s divine fury the player stretches fore their hand releasing a coned wave of fire that reaches 30ft ; scourging creatures in its path prone and deals 4d6 points of fire damage plus 1d6 burning damage that lasts until the are able to stomp it out. Creature must make a DC of 15
Phantasmal Killer:? You tap into the nightmares of a creature you can see within range and create an illusory manifestation of its deepest fears, visible only to that creature. The Target must make a Intelligence saving through 17. On failed save, the target become frightened for the duration. At the end of each of the target’s turns before the spell ends, the target must succeed on a Intelligence saving throw or take 4d10 psychice damage.
At the age of five, Adrain witnessed the death of his parents, as they killed each other in a violent rage. The boy attempted to stop them, but they failed to heed his cries for mercy. The young Teifling made his way from his home to a coven of Tiefling Wizards, in the snowy mountains of Rollan.
It was there Adrian met Master Casius – ruler of the last remaining Cyric clan of Tieflings in Runitha. Little did he know that Casius was a dark overlord, hellbent on taking over all of Runitha in the name of Cyric. The boy catered to his every command for the next ten years, studied within the coven, and learned of the powers hidden inside him by practicing ancient techniques brought forth by his ancestors.
Once the Tiefling hit the age of 15, he was eligible for the yearly tournaments. These tournaments were comprised of the 10 strongest Tieflings in a battle to see which would become the new ruler – should they defeat Master Casius.
Adrian won his very first tournament – he outmatched every Tiefling he faced. He was a true master of the ancestral arts taught by his coven. His only challenge now was to face-off against Master Casius.
The boy entered the throne room to Casius’ applause. “You’ve been quite the protege,” Casius quipped. “But do you have what it takes to best me in a duel?” Adrian cast his “Pillar Of Flame” upon Casius only to be struck with terror. Adrian realized he had no control over where the spell was going and casted it upon himself. Thinking quickly, Adrian jumped out of the way – avoiding the pillar by mere inches.
Casius shook his head in disgust. “You know,” he said, “that’s exactly what your father tried to do when he was here. It’s sad really – his only son witnessed him kill his mother, and she him – as if they had no control over it…” Adrian was in shock and fell to the floor. The one he trained with and learned from is the one who caused him such grief and agony. “Cheap tactic as a first move,” Casuis said with a sinister smile. “I won’t kill you…_yet.” Suddenly, Adrian felt a sensation inside of his arms and seconds later, a snap – no, two snaps – as both his arms were broken. He cried out and cringed in pain for minutes at a time.
“You’re mental abilities are pitiful!” Casius barked as Adrian cursed at his wicked master in his native tongue. Adrian looked below him as he saw a hole start to form. The fires of Hell lurked beneath as he now found himself locked in a cage. I should’ve killed you all when I had the chance," Casius said as he lowered him into the depths of Hell. Adrian screamed and begged his master for forgiveness and pleaded his allegiance to him.
Suddenly, the flames, fire and the cage disappeared, as Adrian looked around in fear and confusion. “As I said,” Casius explained, “you’re mental abilities are pitiful. And for that you shall suffer immensely.” Casius walked up to the adolescent Tiefling and branded his broken arms with the mark of Cyric. Adrian screamed in pain, eventually passing out from shock.
Once he awoke, Adrian did whatever his master commanded. He helped destroy villages and cities within Runitha, and he enjoyed it – he felt alive. But nevertheless, Adrian had planned his vengeance on Casius for the next five years. He realized the extent of his power, and he realized Casius was the reason for his race’s demise.
At 20, Adrian faced Casius again. Calling him out to the battleground in a duel for power. At this point Adrian was the strongest – only second to Casius himself. The two fought a beautifully, destructive match, and in the final minutes, Adrian attempted a spell that had been forbidden – nearly killing Casius. Barely surviving, Casius struck Adrian down by the legs, broke them, and branded them as well. Casius demanded that Adrian be thrown out of the coven to fend for his own. For in his own words “It shall be worse then death itself.”
